1. 잘못 V = V the wrong

전화 잘못 거셨어요.
You dial the wrong number.

음식을 잘못 먹어서 배가 아파요.
I have a stomachache because I ate something bad.

*잘 못 V =  V not well

김치를 잘 먹어요?
- 아뇨, 잘 못 먹어요.
Can you eat kimchi?
- No, I can't eat much


2.  V-지 말다 = do not V (imperative ending)

기다리지 마세요.
Please do not wait.

담배를 피우지 마십시오.
Please do not smoke.

오늘 만나지 말고 다음에 만납시다.
Let's not meet  today, let's meet next time.

3.  V-지 말고 V-(으)세요 = not V, but V (imperative ending)

놀지 밀고 공부하세요.
Please don't fool around, and study.

커피를 마시지 말고 밥을 잡수세요.
Please don't drink coffee, eat something.


4. 그런데요/아닌데요 = Yes, it is/ No, it isn't.

여기가 대전시장입니까?
- 네, 그런데요.
- 아닌데요. 여기가 유성시장입니다.
Is this Daejeon market?
- Yes, it is.
- No, it isn't.  Here is Yuseong market.


5. 전화를 끊다/ 받다/ 바꾸다 [바뀌 주다] = to hang up/ to answer/ to have someone answer the phone.

동생이 친구에게 전화를 겁니다.
My brother is calling his friend.

선생님께서 저에게 전화를 거셨어요.
The teacher called me.

전화 끊겠습니다.
I am going to hang up.

철수 씨 좀 바궈 주세요.
May I speak to Chulsoo?
